change?

there are some lines of work where progress and change is slow
people are frustrated, they want things to improve, but still nothing changes
in others progress happens at light speed

people in the first group try and copy the activities from the second but it doesn't seem to stick

sometimes i wonder if its because of the type of people each industry attracts
some areas have a vibe of continuous improvement, iterating, tinkering, learning from others, starting small
its kind and sensitive and supportive and inclusive
but its slow

in others its more chaotic
good ideas, bad ideas, but all big ones
single-mindedness, bullishness, commitment to a vision even if it turns out to be total shit


do we need more unhinged visionaries
